Hello everyone,

My name is Tammy. I am a Registered Practical Nurse, I graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2005. I am current attend the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT). I am in my final year in the hopes of obtain my BScN, RN. I am currently taking a course called Information and Communication Technology in Healthcare. I was introduced to blogs in this class. I often wonder how people survived without technology such as the internet, cell phones, ipods. Blogging appear to add to our increasingly advancing world. After learning about what a blog is, I believe that blogs can be useful. It appear that it is a great way to communicate with colleages and other students. So keep reading my blog and I will keep you posted with updates.

Hi Tammy,

It seems we have more in common than you would think. I too went to SSFC, only I graduated in 2004. I am also a working RPN in the Durham Region now, as I am in my third year of PN to BScN program at UOIT.
This is a great start to your blog, as I see you are focusing on technology and healthcare.

I hope you get a great placement for your next semester, that incorporates your blog topic! lol

Take care, and hope to hear from you too.
